GRFU presents Ghana Rugby National team Jersey to His Royal Highness Prince Edward and NSA Boss
The Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) presented Ghana Rugby National team jersey to His Royal Highness Prince Edward and the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo- Ankrah.
The presentation was done by the President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union, Ms. Rafatu Inusah during the first- ever UK/Ghana Sports-Day, which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, had meaningful engagement with the Ghana Rugby Football Union players and officials, capped with a symbolic jersey presentation.
The GRFU also extended their heartfelt appreciation to the NSA boss, Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, for the opportunity to showcase rugby at the Uk/Ghana Sports-Day programme.
His commitment to creating inclusive platforms for all sports continues to open doors for growth, participation, and national visibility.
As a token of their gratitude, the GRFU honoured Yaw Ampofo -Ankrah with a customised national team jersey during the event.
“This is a symbol of our appreciation for his leadership and unwavering support toward the development of rugby and Ghana’s sporting ecosystem,” Ms Rafatu said after honouring the Director-General of the NSA.
