The Futurestars Charity made a joyful appearance at the 2025 UK–Ghana Sports Day, a colourful festival of culture, sport and youth engagement held on November 25, 2025 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event, organised by the British High Commission in partnership with the National Sports Authority, brought together sports federations, organisations, basic schools and senior high schools from across the country.
A Day of Discovery and Inspiration for Young Learners
Among the participating schools was Baatsona Basic School, one of Futurestars’ long-standing member institutions. Their pupils arrived ready for adventure, and the atmosphere did not disappoint.

The children spent the day immersed in live sporting action and spirited fan support.
They explored new sporting disciplines, cheered from the stands, interacted with athletes, and soaked up the infectious energy that filled Ghana’s largest sporting arena.
For many of the pupils, stepping into the national stadium for the first time was nothing short of magical—a moment of inspiration that planted seeds of ambition and curiosity.
This memorable outing beautifully captures the essence of Futurestars’ mission: opening doors, broadening horizons, and giving every child the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow through exposure, experience, and community engagement.

Futurestars extends heartfelt appreciation to the British High Commission and the National Sports Authority for creating such an impactful platform, one that empowers young people and strengthens the bond between sport and education.
