Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan has been named in the Malta Women’s League Team of the Season after a stupendous run.

The 20-year old Ghanaian put up an amazing performance in the season to see her club Swieqi United FC finish 2nd on the table.

Cynthia was named in the team of the season after conceding just 5 goals in 18 games that saw here side as the most defensive side of the season.

Cynthia’s incredible performance in the season has stolen the headlines in Malta after the Women’s League came to a close.

The Black Queens goalie was recently part of the Ghana side that beat Senegal in a two-legged friendly clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

At 20, Cynthia looks promising and assures of a better future considering how impressive she has been for both club and country.
