betPawa Announces GH₵20,000 Locker Room Bonus for Black Queens Ahead of WAFCON 2026

betPawa has announced a special GH₵20,000 locker room bonus package for the Black Queens for every victory they record at the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2026.

The announcement was made by the Head of Local Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at betPawa, Borah Omary Ndanyungu, during a partnership event held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Premier Best Western Hotel in Accra.

Addressing distinguished guests, officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), players, coaches, and members of the media, Borah Omary Ndanyungu reaffirmed betPawa’s commitment to the growth and development of Ghana football.

According to him, the initiative forms part of betPawa’s support package aimed at motivating the Black Queens ahead of the continental tournament.

“The Black Queens players will receive a GH₵20,000 locker room bonus for every victory they secure during the competition. We believe in rewarding hard work, dedication, and success on the pitch,” he stated.

The betting company also reiterated its dedication to supporting both the Black Stars and Black Queens as Ghana prepares for major international competitions.

The announcement has been welcomed by football fans and stakeholders, with many describing it as a timely motivation boost for the women’s national team ahead of WAFCON 2026.

The Black Queens are expected to intensify preparations in the coming weeks as they aim to make a strong impact at the tournament, which will run from July 25 to August 16, 2026.

The TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations remains the biggest women’s football competition on the African continent, bringing together the best national teams in pursuit of continental glory.
