2023 African Games: Lameck, Nortey, Asaba, Ruth, Elizabeth Bagerbaseh get into third round

Lameck Bagerbaseh, Isaac Nortey, Abraham Asaba, Elizabeth Bagerbaseh and Ruth Crawford advanced into the third round of the ongoing African Games tennis segment at Borteyman Sports complex.

However, Herman Abban who won his initial round match, lost his second round game to Ivorian Coulibaly Eliakim Wilfried ranked 447 in the world.

Former Ghana No.1 Samuel Antwi after a bye in the first round fell to Egyptian opponent Michael Bassem Sobhy 6-1,6-2.
