WAFA Starlet Abdul Karim Gazumps MOTM Award In WAFA’s Slim Loss To Legon Cities

Former Ghana U-17 right-back Abdul Samed Mohammed Karim was adjudged the NASCO man-of-the-match in WAFA’s narrow defeat to Legon Cities FC on Friday evening.

WAFA suffered a painful 1-0 away loss to Legon Cities FC in the week eight of the Ghana Premier league at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Defender Joseph Adjei stepped up and slotted in for the first and only goal of the game through a spot kick in the 48th minute to clinch the Accra-based side’s maiden victory of the season.

The Kumasi-born defender was outstanding at the right hand side of defence for WAFA as he showed glimpses of his old self, winning balls and running in some good crosses in their one zero loss against Legon Cities FC.

He enjoyed the entire duration of the match with a sterling performance.

It was his fourth game of the season for West African Football Academy.
