Sulley Ali Muniru, the brother of Ghanaian football legend, Sulley Ali Muntari, according to report by Oyerepa Radio is close to joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Muniru has been linked with the Porcupine Warriors for some time now and according to Thepostghana.com reports, the deal is 90% done.
The 27-year-old midfielder has played for Liberty Professionals, CFR Cluj, FCSB, Tondela, Yeni Malatyaspor, Dinamo Minsk and Tambov is well known for his aggressive and skilful style of play.
According to the report, Kotoko would no longer go after Medeama’s Justice Blay should Muniru join Kotoko as they are playing less for him.
Blay became Kotoko’s prime target after impressing on his one-year loan at the club, however, Kotoko and Medeama have not been able to agree on a fee.
