Top Coaches in the GPL, WPL & DOL will go on attachment abroad at the end of 2020/21 Season- Kurt Okraku

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has announced that top coaches of teams that enjoy triumph at the end of the 2020/2021 football season will be sponsored to go for attachment abroad. 

Before the start of last season, the new football administration opened up on plans to send coaches of the winners of the various leagues abroad for training. Unfortunately, the campaign could not end as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Ahead of the start of the new football season, the GFA has reiterated its plans to provide that support for the top-performing Ghanaian coaches at the end of the campaign.

“Coaches of the two top clubs at the end of the Premier League season will go on attachment outside the shores of Ghana”, GFA president Kurt Okraku said at the launch of the 20/21 football season today.

He added, “Same will be applicable to our National Division One. The top coach in each of the three zones will also go on attachment outside the shores of Ghana.

“And for the Women’s Premier League, the top coaches of the two zones will also undertake an attachment to enhance their capacities outside the shores of Ghana.
