Thomas Partey excels as Arsenal beat Manchester United at Old Trafford

Ghana international Thomas Partey glittered in Arsenal’s narrow win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The erstwhile Atletico Madrid midfield linchpin returned to Mikel Arteta’s starting XI after he was rested on Thursday and put in an eye catching display for the Gunners who worsened the plight of the Red Devils – who have failed to pick up a win in their opening four home games.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s solitary strike from the penalty spot was more than enough to exorcise Arsenal’s abysmal output against the so-called Big Six teams on the road.
