Accra, Ghana – Sept 15, 2025 On the opening day of the J60 ITF World Junior Tennis Tour in Accra, Team Boafo signaled its intent with a blend of brilliance, grit, and promise across both singles and doubles.
The standout performance came from Kingsley Alormenu, who delivered a flawless masterclass, dismantling his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Rising star Sonny Atitsogbe showed composure under pressure, edging through a tense first set before pulling away for a 7-5, 6-2 win. Meanwhile, Aaron Armaah produced a measured display, striking cleanly and confidently to secure victory 6-4, 6-2.

Elsewhere, it was a learning curve for Samuel Aryetey, Joy Oriaku, Benedicta Kotey, and Philipina Sewornu, all falling in straight sets as they continue to gain valuable experience at this level.
In doubles, Team Boafo was unstoppable. The pairing of Atitsogbe/Armaah fought their way through a rollercoaster encounter, sealing it in a decisive tie-break 6-4, 3-6, [10-3]. On the adjacent court, Raphael Dowuona & Hanif Boateng combined precision with power to close out a commanding 6-4, 6-2 win.
