Sissamba Ladies Run Riot Against Immigration to Clinch GARFA Champion of Champions Crown

Sissamba Ladies capped off a sensational season in emphatic fashion, thrashing Immigration Ladies 6-1 to lift the 2025/26 GARFA Women’s Division One Champion of Champions title at the Madina Zongo Astro Turf.

From the very first whistle, Sissamba made their intentions clear. They played with confidence, purpose, and a hunger that reflected a team determined to finish what they had started earlier in the season. Their grip on the game tightened with every passing minute, as they controlled possession and dictated the tempo with ease.

Going forward, they were simply unstoppable. Their attack cut through Immigration’s defence time and again, converting chances with ruthless precision to put the game beyond doubt long before the final whistle.

Immigration Ladies did manage to grab a goal, but it served only as a consolation on a difficult day against a side operating at a completely different level.

For Sissamba Ladies, the victory was more than just a trophy it was the perfect ending to a flawless campaign. They had already stamped their authority in Zone B, winning all 14 matches, scoring an incredible 64 goals, and conceding just eight to finish with a perfect 42 points. This final performance only reinforced their dominance.

Immigration Ladies, on their part, can still take pride in a strong season. They topped Zone A with 31 points, showing resilience and consistency to edge past close rivals Ridge City Women and Teshie Constant Ladies.

Despite the heavy defeat, both teams now turn their focus to the next challenge. They have secured qualification to represent the Greater Accra Region in the upcoming Women’s Regional Middle League, where promotion to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League will be at stake.
