Rafatu Inusah To Speak On The Future Of Ghana Rugby On GH Police TV
Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) President Rafatu Inusah will be the special guest on GH Police TV’s Sports Security Arena today, Tuesday, 15 September, as she discusses the development and future of rugby football in Ghana.
Inusah will join host G/Sgt Yaw Boaitey Boateng for what promises to be an engaging conversation on the growth of rugby and the GRFU’s efforts to create new opportunities for players and institutions to embrace the sport.
A key focus of the interview will be the GRFU’s recent support for the Ghana Police Sports Unit, ahead of the SESSA Games.
The Union recently donated sporting equipment and cash to the Police Sports Unit as part of its support for the team’s preparations. The GRFU is also working to introduce rugby to the Police Sports Unit, with plans to recruit and develop players as part of its wider strategy to expand the game.
The initiative reflects the GRFU’s commitment to taking rugby beyond the traditional sporting environment and into institutions where new talent can be identified and nurtured.
During the interview, President Inusah is expected to share her perspective on the progress of rugby in Ghana, the challenges and opportunities facing the sport, and the importance of partnerships in building a stronger future for the game.
Her appearance will also provide an opportunity for viewers to learn more about the GRFU’s development agenda and its vision for making rugby more accessible to Ghanaians.
