Prez Mahama appoints the new Director General of the National Sports Authority

Mr Ankrah would work closely with the Sports and Recreation Minister, Hon. Kofi Adams to develop, organise promote and manage competitive and social sports with the view to promoting health, fitness, recreation, national cohesion and professionalism that ensures sustainable wealth creation, development and management of sporting infrastructure.
The BBC-trained journalist, now boss of the NSA, sure has a tough task of putting things in order, especially after the bad press the Authority has been in 2024 over the poor handling of various national stadia.
