Accra, Ghana – August 9, 2026: It was an evening of glamour, music, friendship and celebration as prominent Ghanaian football administrator and talent manager Samuel Ohene Anim Addo, popularly known as Sammy Anim, marked his 50th birthday in grand style.
The golden jubilee celebration, held from August 8–9 at the Airport Officers Mess (Air Force Officers Mess) in Accra, brought together some of the biggest names in Ghanaian football, sports, entertainment, politics and the media.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was unmistakably celebratory, with elegant appearances, live music, laughter and memorable moments setting the tone for a night dedicated to celebrating five decades of life and achievement.
Among the distinguished personalities who joined Sammy Anim Addo for the milestone celebration were Ghana football legend Asamoah Gyan, Tony Baffour, Baffour Gyan, Majeed waris, Kwadwo Asamoah, Daniel Opare, Jerry Akaminko, Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, Sports Minister Hon. Kofi Adams, Azumah Nelson, veteran football administrator Alhaji Karim Grusah, actor Majid Michel, actor Adjetey Anang, musician like, Legendary Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD, Kojo Antwi, Jupiter , KK Fosu , Ofori Amponsah , Nana Kontihene, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah popularly known as TiC and formerly Tic Tac, Jupiter media personality, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, Lexis Bill, and politician, media personality Kwame A Plus and Azmera Restaurant owner, Nana Afia Krobea Asante, Adontenhene of Kwahu Mpraeso.

The presence of so many prominent personalities reflected the wide network of relationships Sammy Anim has built throughout his career in sports administration, football, talent management and business.
For many of the guests, however, the celebration was about more than simply turning 50. It was an opportunity to honour a man who has spent years working behind the scenes and alongside some of Ghana’s most recognisable sporting personalities.

His association with football legend Asamoah Gyan has been one of the most notable chapters of his career, while his work across sports and talent management has earned him strong relationships within Ghana’s sporting and entertainment communities.
The night also carried a strong sense of nostalgia, as old friends and colleagues shared memories, exchanged warm wishes and celebrated the journey that brought Sammy Anim to this important milestone.
With music filling the venue and guests enjoying the festivities, the Airport Officers Mess became a fitting stage for a golden jubilee celebration that was as colourful as it was memorable.

At 50, Sammy Anim Addo enters another chapter of his life with a wealth of experience, friendships and achievements behind him and, judging by the energy surrounding his celebration, plenty more chapters still to be written.
It was, quite simply, 50 years worth celebrating.
