Kwesi Appiah confirms receipt of two months salary arreas

Former Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah has confirmed receiving his two months arreas out of the five months owed him by the Ministry Of Youth and Sports.

Kwesi Appiah left the job after his contact with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) expired in December, 2019.

Kwesi Appiah has been chasing for his arrears in the past days by writing letters to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) demanding for his money.

Reports in the local media on Wednesday 17th June, 2020 suggested Kwesi Appiah has been paid $ 70, 000.00 out of the total amount of $185,00.00 by the Ministry Of Youth and Sports as part of his five months arreas.

I have received two months arreas out of the five months owed me, I personally do not want to talk about this any more, how do you owe some one five months and you pay only two months arreas”. Kwasi told Ghsportsnews.com

The Ministry Of Youth and Sports did not state when the rest of the arreas will be paid.
