Morocco Lead African Nations in FIFA World Cup 2026 Prize Money Earnings as Ghana Banks $13.5 Million

Morocco have emerged as the highest-earning African nation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, taking home an impressive $31.5 million following another remarkable campaign on the global stage.

The Atlas Lions finished well ahead of the continent’s other representatives, with Egypt ranking second after earning $17.5 million for their performance.

Seven African nations, including Ghana’s Black Stars, each received $13.5 million after reaching the knockout stage of the tournament. They are Senegal, Algeria, DR Congo, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, South Africa and Ghana.
