Ipswich Town FC jerseys donated to Ridge City Women through Futurestars Charity

English Championship side Ipswich Town FC have donated football jerseys to Futurestars Charity, with the kits subsequently handed over to Ridge City Football Club Women in Ghana.

The donation is aimed at supporting the women’s team as they continue to develop their players and promote opportunities for young women through football.

The jerseys were presented to the Ridge City Women’s team at the Madina AstroTurf, with kits provided for both the players and members of the management team.

Futurestars Charity expressed its appreciation to Ipswich Town for the donation, describing the initiative as an example of how support for sport can create opportunities and positively impact communities.

“We believe that every donation has the potential to go further,” Futurestars Charity said.

“When resources are shared, they can create new opportunities, build confidence and help young people and communities thrive.”

The charity said it was delighted to pass on the jerseys to a team of women who continue to pursue their passion for football while using sport as a platform for personal and community development.

Futurestars Charity also thanked its supporters for helping make initiatives such as the kit donation possible.

The organisation believes that sporting donations can have a lasting impact when they are channelled to communities and teams that need them.

The handover underlines the growing role of partnerships and charitable initiatives in supporting women’s football and providing teams with essential sporting resources.
