Ghana Women’s Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies have received a major financial boost following a courtesy call on a prominent supporter at his office in Tesano, Accra.
The delegation, led by the club’s founder Nana Benyin Eyison and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Evelyn Nsiah Asare, visited to officially present the Women’s FA Cup trophy and the Women’s Premier League trophy after finishing the season as runners-up in both competitions.
The visit also celebrated the club’s impressive individual achievements during the campaign, with members of the squad earning awards for Best Goalkeeper, Most Valuable Player, and Best Coach — a reflection of the quality and determination within the team.
Speaking during the meeting, the host congratulated the players and management for their dedication and strong performances throughout the season, describing the achievements of Hasaacas Ladies as a source of pride for the Western Region.
He stressed that supporting women’s football goes beyond trophies and results, emphasizing its role in empowering young women, building stronger communities, and inspiring the next generation of female athletes across Ghana.
As part of his support, he donated GH¢50,000.00 to the club and further pledged monthly financial assistance to help the team continue competing at the highest level and bring more glory to the Western Region.
The gesture has been welcomed as another significant step in promoting women’s football in Ghana, with Hasaacas Ladies continuing to establish themselves as one of the country’s most successful and respected women’s clubs.
