The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Procus Ghana Limited, producers of Kivo products, to support grassroots football development through the launch of the Kivo Juvenile U-17 Champions League.
The partnership agreement was officially signed at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association in Accra on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the presence of key officials from both institutions.

Procus Ghana Limited is widely recognised for products such as Kivo 4-in-1 Gari Mix, Kivo 100% Natural Spices including Kivo Hot Pepper and Kivo Ginger Powder, as well as newly introduced products like Kivo 100% Natural Curry Plus, Kivo Garlic Ginger and Onion Powder, Kivo Hot Shito, and Kivo Gari with Shito.
Speaking on behalf of GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, GFA Vice President Mark Addo described the partnership as a major step toward strengthening youth football development in Ghana.
According to him, the agreement goes beyond sponsorship and represents an investment in the future of Ghana football.
“At the Ghana Football Association, we firmly believe that sustainable football success begins at the grassroots. Every football legend starts often as a young boy or girl with a dream, passion and opportunity. This competition seeks to create exactly that opportunity,” Mark Addo said.
As part of the agreement, the two institutions will introduce the Kivo Juvenile U-17 Champions League, a nationwide competition aimed at identifying and nurturing young football talents across the country.

The competition will begin at the regional level where affiliated U-17 clubs in all regions will compete in their respective Regional U-17 Club Champions League competitions. The format for each regional competition will be determined by the various Regional Football Associations.
The winners from each region will then qualify for the national championship stage of the Kivo Juvenile U-17 Champions League.
The partnership will also provide direct support to young footballers through the distribution of jerseys, football boots, and other sporting equipment to aid player development.
“We are grateful that this partnership goes beyond competition, with support including jerseys, football boots and sports equipment that will directly benefit the development of these young talents across the country,” Mark Addo added.
He further thanked Procus Ghana Limited for believing in the vision of Ghana football and investing in the future of the game through youth development initiatives.
Head of Marketing at Procus Ghana Limited, Evans Kwofie, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting juvenile football and sports development in Ghana.
“Today marks an important moment for Procus Ghana Ltd and the Kivo brand as we officially partner with the Ghana Football Association to support the growth and future of football in Ghana,” he said.

“At Kivo, we strongly believe in the heritage of Ghana, the power of community, and the limitless potential of young Ghanaians. Football is more than a sport in our country — it is part of our identity, our culture, and a source of hope and inspiration for millions.”
He also highlighted the role of Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus, who serves as brand ambassador for Kivo, describing him as a symbol of excellence and inspiration for the youth.
“We are particularly excited that our brand ambassador, Mohammed Kudus, represents the spirit of excellence, determination, and ambition that this partnership stands for. His journey continues to inspire young people across the country to dream bigger and believe in their potential,” Evans Kwofie stated.

Also in attendance at the signing ceremony were Executive Chairman Chief Ibrahim Umaru Mojo, Brand Manager Ms. Kate Amponsah, GFA Marketing Director Mr. Jamil Marabey, and other distinguished personalities.
