Cheetah FC’s U-17 side, affectionately known as the Young Predators, have once again underlined their growing reputation as one of Ghana’s brightest youth football teams after emerging champions of the 2025/26 Central Region Colts Championship.
The remarkable achievement comes after the Young Predators first secured the Awutu Senya West District U-17 Zone One Colts League title, earning the right to represent the district at the prestigious Central Region Inter-District Colts Championship.
The talented youngsters continued their impressive form throughout the regional competition. They began their title-winning campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Spartans FA of Awutu Senya East before producing a commanding performance to defeat Academicas of Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) 3-0 in the decisive encounter.

Their dominant displays saw them lift the 2025/26 Central Region Colts Championship trophy, confirming their status as the best U-17 side in the region.
The latest triumph adds another prestigious title to an already successful season, highlighting the club’s commitment to youth development and the nurturing of future football stars. The Young Predators have consistently demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and technical excellence throughout the campaign, qualities that have been instrumental in their success.
Having conquered both the district and regional competitions, Cheetah FC’s U-17 team will now carry the hopes of the Central Region as they prepare to compete in the Inter-Regional Colts Championship later this year.

The achievement is another major milestone for Cheetah FC’s thriving youth development programme, which continues to produce talented young footballers capable of competing at the highest levels of colts football in Ghana.

With confidence soaring after an outstanding campaign, the Young Predators will now set their sights on making a strong impact on the national stage and adding another chapter to their memorable 2025/26 season.
