Beautiful beneath, Elikem Kumordzi and many others will be in the spotlight for the fashion aspect of the event.

The winners of the game between Ghana and Nigeria will donate their winning returns to an orphanage of choice after the event.

We noticed that in December, as part of the Beyond the Return campaign, most of the events were music-driven, so we at Rite Sports thought it was time to balance with some basketball,” Project lead at Rite Sports, Yaw Sakyi, said.

“This event will take place in Ghana for a couple of years but will travel through the African continent in the future. The Africa Basketball Festival will, in the coming years, add many African teams to the basketball game, fashion brands from different countries and musicians from different countries to entertain fans,” Yaw Sakyi added.

The Social Media Manager of the Beyond the Return Committee, Ivy Prosper, said her outfit was interested in the opportunity that basketball provides for networking and teamwork.

The Community Liaison Officer of Beyond the Return, Socrate Safo, also warned event organizers to desist from using the “Beyond the Return” brand to promote their events without approval from the Committee.
