Another Ghana VS Nigeria clash looms as Ampem Darkoa Ladies face Bayelse Queens in CAF Women’s Champions League Wᴀғᴜ Zone B Qᴜalifiers

Ghana will renew her rivalry with Nigeria on Saturday, September 3, 2022 when Ampem Darkoa Ladies face Bayelse Queens in the finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League Wᴀғᴜ Zone B Qᴜalifiers.

The Ghanaian giants will play the Nigerian side Saturday at the Stade De Yammosoukro Stadium, Cote’voire.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies reached the finals after beating African Sports D’Abidjan 6-5 on penalties after playing out 1-1 in 120 minutes in the semi final of the competition, and Bayelse Queens beat Espoir Ladies  of Togo 6-0 to set the finals with the Ghanaian gaints.

Already the two teams met in the group stages in group B where the game ended scoreless draw.

Ghana and Nigerian have been at each others throat in the past few months after Nigeria 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifiers and also the current one was the Black Galaxies beat Nigeria team B 2-0 in the first leg of CHAN qualifier in Cape Coast.

The game between Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Bayelse Queens is expected to be keenly contested for with the Nigerian side aiming for a revenge.
