In a thrilling women’s final at the 13th African Games, Ghana staged a remarkable comeback to claim victory over their long-standing rivals, Nigeria, and secure the coveted gold medal on Thursday, March 21.

Facing an early setback when Nigeria took the lead with a goal from Edeh Njideka, Ghana’s Black Princesses displayed resilience and determination.
