I’m excited about the challenge – Asamoah Gyan after landing Super Sports job

Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan will be making his punditry debut on Super Sport TV Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) 2021 coverage.

Gyan, together with other legends, will do the in-house analysis and the former Sunderland attacker is expected to bring his enormous experience on the field into the matchday analysis on the South African channel.

The former Black Stars captain took to Twitter to express his excitement.

Asamoah Gyan remains Ghani’s all-time top scorer with 51 goals in 109 appearances after having his debut with the Black Stars in 2003.

Until the 2019 AFCON, Gyan was Ghana’s leading some time at the continental showpiece with eight (8) goals, however, Andre Ayew now holds that feat with nine (9) goals.

The 33rd edition of the AFCON tournament kickoff on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Cameroon.
