Did you know Thomas Partey was part of Ghana’s preliminary U-20 squad that played  the World  Youth Championship 2013 in Turkey.

Sellas Tetteh and his technial team by then found him not fit to battle the likes of Alfred Duncan,Seidu Salifu,Clifford Aboagye,Moses Odjer and others at the time.

When the final squad was named without the then Atletico Madrid Academy player, the disappointment on his face was very clear ,he had to book a flight back to Spain totally disappointed and feeling rejected by his own people.

The player himself didn’t understand how come he was dropped but seven years down the line this same player has become Ghana’s hottest asset on the world stage.

Till date, it looks like a lot of people do not know about this episode.
