Dede Ayew has opened up on his penalty missed against Uruguay in the Black Stars last group-stage match against Uruguay.

The Black Stars were awarded a penalty after Mohammed Kudus was brought down by goalkeeper Sergio Rochet. After a lengthy VAR inspection, German referee Daniel Siebert pointed to the spot, and Ayew stepped up to the spot.

The Ghana captain stood over the ball for several more seconds only to take a poor low shot that Rochet easily stopped.
