The National Youth Chief of the Chamba community, Umoja Bwe Hajj Abdul Samad Ibn Chambas, is urging young people to take advantage of the government’s “Feed Ghana” program to venture into farming.

This initiative, part of the broader Agriculture for Economic Transformation Agenda (AETA), aims to modernize agriculture, create jobs, reduce food inflation, and promote agro-industrial development.

According to Umoja Bwe Hajj Abdul Samad, youth can start by establishing small-scale backyard gardens or finding a small piece of land to cultivate.

He leads by example, having already started his own backyard garden and planning to leverage the “Feed Ghana” program and the Nkoko Nketenkete project.

The “Feed Ghana” program prioritizes key agricultural commodities such as maize, rice, and cocoa, and promotes smart farming practices nationwide.

By participating in this program, young people cannot only improve their livelihoods but also contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
