REPORT: Accra Hearts of Oak SC To Release FIVE Players

Reigning Ghana Premier league champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC are set to part ways with five of their first team players after the arrival of six new faces, according to 442gh report.

The capital based side stormed their way to the podium with some impressive performances in the home stretch end of the 2020/21 GHPL season under the inspiration of Samuel Boadu.

After confirming their readiness to return to continental football for the first time since 2015, the technical team of the club requested for the services of six new faces to fine tune the squad.

These new faces, increased the squad size to nearly 40 players heading into the 2021/22 football season.

The report further revealed that, that management and technical team of the club met and decided to release five players to add to the two who have already left the club.

Center forward, Abednegoh Tetteh and midfield dynamo, Benjamin Afutu, have already left the club on mutual grounds.

The list of players earmarked for either loan deals or outright sales includes Eric Dizan, Dominic Eshun, James Sowornu and Abdul Manaf Umar with multiple offers already on the table for a number of these stars.

Head coach, Samuel Buodu, is expected to announce his final 35-man squad for the 2021/21 football in the coming weeks.
