NSA DG Rubbishes Claims of GHC 3,000 Profit from Ghana vs Chad Match

The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has denied reports that the organization made a profit of GHC 3,000 from the recent Ghana vs Chad match.

In an interview with ghaportsnews.com Ankrah dismissed the claims as “untrue”. The NSA DG’s denial raises questions about the accuracy of the initial report, which cited gross proceeds of GHC 500,000 and ticket printing costs exceeding GHC 300,000.

The NSA’s financial dealings are subject to scrutiny, and Ankrah’s denial ended speculation on illegalities at the NSA.
