‘Money Bag’: Ghana’s All time Top scorer Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan joins Legon Cities-[Check The Transfer Fee Involved]

General captain for the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has completed a sensational move to Legon Cities FC on a one year deal.

 

The newly branded football club has secured the services of the all time top scorer of Ghana after a fruitful negotiation.

The 34-year-old playmaker signed the contract with the Accra based club after he quashed the rumours of signing for Asante Kotoko.
Reports has it that he was given $150,000 as an appearance fee to sign for the club.

The former Sunderland and Kayserispor forward has been clubless after parting ways with Indian Super side, NorthEast United this year.

Gyan is the all-time leading goalscorer of the Ghana national team, with 51 goals and has represented Ghana at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

With 6 goals, he is the top African goalscorer in the history of the World Cup.

Gyan has also represented Ghana at the 2004 Summer Olympics and in seven Africa Cup of Nations in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019, helping them finish in third-place in 2008 and runner-up in 2010 and 2015.
