At the beginning of the week, the leading goal scorer at Berry Ladies Football Club this season confirmed her departure from Berry Ladies Football Club – in the wake of the final match with Ridge City Football Club. She also expressed her sadness for the impromptu transfer as she wanted to play the final match and thanked the Berry fans.

Then, on Saturday evening, the prolific striker – heavily linked with a move to a giant Club in Jordan called Orthodox club- posted a farewell message to the media team of Berry Ladies FC, accompanied by a montage of photos of her final time with the players and coach.

The prolific striker known as one of the best forwards in Ghana Women’s Premier League began her message with a quote from Portuguese man of letters Fernando Pessoa:

“Today a cycle ends but it can be continued again soon, after six months in the Berry Ladies Football Club team, I would like to thank my teammates, the whole technical team and the management especially the media team, the fans, my family, God and my friends. I have lived unforgettable moments, my career grew and resurrected with this team, I have become a proud Berry, and I will carry these months in my hearts forever. Thank you very much Berry Ladies FC, thank you Mrs. Gifty Oware-Mensah (CEO) and thank you to each fan who followed me everywhere to support me.”
