Evans Aryee also urged Ghanaians to accept strongman and powerlifting sports as permanent sporting disciplines.

“Let’s face it the powerlifting and strongman sports though new to the Ghanaian terrain has come to stay, we must embrace it just like every other sport, just like we do for football, athletics and boxing, powerlifting has a very great potential in Ghana, we must embrace and invest in the sport,” he said.
