Ghsportsnews.com Inter-Community Educational and Sports Festival U-15 tournament set to kick off on December, 19

The second edition of Ghsportsnews.com inter -Community Educational and Sports Festival is slated for December 19, 2022 at Kpandai town Park in the Northern Region.

Ten (10) school will be participating in this year’s gala U-15 football competition.

The motive behind the tournament is to promote grassroots football while unearthing talents in the Northern Region.

According to the organizers, “the aim of the competition is to identify talents for Football development. Football (sports) plays a vital role in our local communities. Not only do they help people stay fit and healthy, it also to helps develop an individual’s sporting talents, as well as to also bring people from our local communities together.

The competition is also aims at  It given the young people the opportunity to meet new friends from different backgrounds, as well as providing parents with the opportunity to meet with other parents, who they otherwise may not have met. It is to provide adults with the opportunity to share their talents and learn new skills, helping with coaching and administration.

Grassroots sports competitions offer so much more than just the sporting activity they are involved with.”

Prices will be awarded to the first, second and third placed teams.
