The Ghana Immigration FC men’s team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Adabraka Elders FC on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Prison Training School Bostal Astro Turf in the ongoing GARFA Division Two League Zone Three match day five.
The home team broke the deadlock in the 24th minute, but Amrah equalized for Immigration FC in the 34th minute. The first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, both teams created scoring opportunities, but the home side took the lead again in the 71st minute. Immigration FC’s chances of equalizing were dealt a blow when Captain Benjamin Amoah received a straight red card.
Despite a late push, Immigration FC was unable to find the equalizer, with the Adabraka Elders FC goalkeeper making a fantastic double save in the 89th minute. The game ended 2-1 in favor of Adabraka Elders FC.
Ghana Immigration FC will now shift their attention to the MTN FA Cup round of 64 against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Pobiman Hearts Park at 3:00 pm.
