Former Hearts of Oak forward Sadat Karim has heaped praises on Asante Kotoko Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama.
Since joining Asante Kotoko in October 2020, the Brazilian international is yet to kick start his career with the Porcupine Warriors due to fitness issues as well as documentation which has aroused some form of agitation from the supporters front – who want to witness the ‘Kumerica Coutinho’ in action.
According to Sadat Karim, who play on the same field in Sweden with Gama deems him as one of the best players he had shared the same pitch with since he began his professional career.
” I saw Fabio Gama in the Swedish league even though we were in different clubs. He’s very good. His control and everything,” he told Kumasi-based Pure FM.
Sadat however expressed his fear of the poor state of pitches which he believes had stifled many talents to showcase their full potential might take a toll on the Brazilian’s game.
“The only thing I’m afraid of is the kind of pitches we have in the country and the weather condition”
The clinical striker unveiled how his life was transformed financially after he signed for the fourth Division side in Sweden as he earned eight times the salary he earned at the capital-based giants.
“I played fourth division in Sweden during my first time in the country. The salary I was receiving there was 8 times that of Hearts Of Oak”
He enunciated how excited he would be if he receives a call up to the Black Stars as he believes he’s ready to feature for the national team.
Sadat Karim who is a former Science student at Prempeh College started his career at Kumasi Barcelona colts club then moved to King Faisal before signing for Real Tamale United.
He also played for Berekum Chelsea then moved to Accra Hearts of Oak.
He last played in the Ghanaian League for International Allies Football Club.
The Former Ghana U-20 striker, Sadat Karim has signed a contract extension deal with his Halmstad BK outfit, just last month.
The prolific attacker joined the Swedish Superattan League club in 2019 after parting ways with Landskrona BoIS.
