Award-winning Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation, has held talks with Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku as Ghana steps up preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
The twin brothers, Michael Boafo (B2) and Tony Boafo (Twist), visited the Ghana Football Association headquarters on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, to discuss possible collaborations aimed at supporting Ghana football and energising support for the Black Stars ahead of the global tournament.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts by the Ghana Football Association to engage key stakeholders and influential personalities in promoting Ghana’s World Cup journey and strengthening fan participation ahead of the tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Discussions reportedly centred on how music and entertainment can play a major role in mobilising supporters, promoting national unity, and increasing enthusiasm around the Black Stars during the World Cup campaign.
President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has in recent months intensified strategic engagements with institutions, corporate bodies, and international partners as Ghana prepares for the Mundial. The GFA has also rolled out fan engagement initiatives designed to enhance support for the national team before the tournament.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is expected to be one of the biggest editions in the competition’s history, with Ghana hopeful of making a strong impact on the global stage.
