Ghana’s Long Jump record holder has been named Female Athlete of the Year by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG). Deborah Acquah Named SWAG Athlete of the Year.
Deborah was outstanding in athletics during the 2021 season, despite the fact that the coronavirus pandemic (covid-19) was on the rise. She’s had a fantastic season, one that will go down in history as one of the most memorable in terms of breaking and setting new records.
She fought valiantly to break Ruky Abdulai’s 14-year-old national record set in 2017. She also set numerous records and won numerous titles at West Texas A&M University.
On Friday, December 17, 2021, the 46th SWAG Awards were held in the Accra International Conference Centre.
Many sports fans have been praising her on social media for the present and endlessly successful season in Athletics.
