Comptroller – General Of Ghana Immigration Service Issues Promising New Year Message To Ghanaians

The Comptroller-General of Immigration (GCI) Mr. Kwame Asuah-Takyi wishes all Officers of the services prosperous New Year with a short but powerful message.

The hugely reverted top ranking officer urged Ghanaians to stay hopeful as the new year promises to bring families closer to their aspirations.

He urged all Ghanaians to help to safeguard the borders of Ghana to make it habitable for the natives.

In a simple message on New Year day , the top ranking officials wrote, ” May the New Year bring to you and your families the fulfilment of our aspirations. I wish you peace , health and prosperity in 2023“.

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) is an agency of the government of Ghana under the Ministry of the Interior.

The GIS regulates examination and authorization of application for visas, entry and residence permits in Ghana. Control of foreign nationals in Ghana, Facilitation of Ghanaian passport application processing, border control and management, Refugee registration, protection and management.

The service advises on and ensures the effective implementation of all laws and regulations pertaining to immigration and related issues.
