Asante Kotoko defender Imoro Ibrahim following his splendid performance on Sunday for Asante Kotoko against Karela United has earned a place in the Africa Soccer Zone Team of the Week.
The left-back had an excellent game for the Porcupines when they broke Karela United’s 66-match unbeaten record at home in the Ghana premier league matchweek 13 fixture at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The 21-year-old defender lasted the entire duration of the game and scored the game’s opening goal on the 36th-minute before Kwame Opoku added the second in the second half.
Imoro’s stupendous display has earned him global applause and as a result of that has been named among the best eleven players in Africa for this week by Africa Soccer Zone.
The left-back has been in a tremendous form for the Reds since the beginning of this season.
