The Owner and Life Patron of Asante Kotoko SC Otumfour Osei Tutu II has declined Dr. Kwame Kyei’s request to resign from Asante kotoko Board.
Asante Kotoko 12 Member Board yesterday met His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II at Manhyia.
At the meeting the Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei begged Otumfour Osei Tutu II he wants resign from the Board but the King of Asanteman declined his request.
Otumfour is believed to be unhappy with the current situation at the club and also the way some of the board members treat their Board Chairman, even when his daughter died, no Board member attend the funnel.
Majority of the Board Members told Otumfour, Dr. Kwame Kyei is not acting well as the Board Chairman at meeting.
Otumfour the sole Shareholder of Asante Kotoko has charged the Board of Directors to check the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah well on contracts and Partnerships he brings to the club.
Manhyia Chief of Staff Mr. Kofi Badu together with the Board of Directors will meet the club CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah to explain everything further to him when he returns from the Dubai trip.
