The female national table tennis team, the Black Loopers have beaten their Rwandan counterparts 3-0 to set up a final group game against Mauritius in the on-going Olympic Games qualifiers in Tunisia.
Cynthia Kwabi, who is a member of the Ghana Immigration Service made light work of Elevi Tumukude, winning (3-0) 11-9, 11-5, 11-3.
Augustina Baidoo of Ghana Army also beat Mbab Twizerane 3-1. After losing the first set 8-11, Augustina fought back to win the next three sets in remarkable fashion, winning 11-5, 11-2, 11-5.
Bernice Borley Borquaye of Ghana Navy sealed victory with a 3-1 win over Tham Tuyikunde, winning 11-3, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5.
Earlier, Ghana lost the opening match by 1-3 to Tunisia.
Victory over Mauritius in the final group match will see Ghana qualifying for the quarter final stage.
The team is geared up for victory with the arrival of the President of the Association Mawuko Afadzinu to boost their morale.
