Kassim Mingle, head coach of Ghana Premier League outfit Bechem United, believes luck will be the deciding factor when the Hunters lock horns against Asante Kotoko on match day two of the ongoing 2021-22 season.

Coach Mingle geared the one-time MTN FA Cup winners to a resounding victory over title contenders Medeama SC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park in the Ghana Premier League match-day one and will be looking forward to continue on that tangent on match day two of the Ghana Premier League.

Bechem United have historically not faired well when they play as guest to Asante Kotoko but will be banking on the good omen which has epitomized their start to the season against the Porcupine Warriors, who also began the new campaign with comeback win against Dreams FC.

After playing the entire season away from their spiritual home – Baba Yara sports stadium – the record holders of the Ghanaian top-flight will be returning to Kumasi for the first time in the new campaign amid huge expectations from a fan-base with an insatiable taste for victory.

Sharing his thoughts ahead of his side’s game against the Reds, coach Mingle underscored the difficulty of the encounter but argues the side with luck will grab all three points.

“Kotoko is a big club with large followers, so Kotoko playing at their home grounds which has been long since they played there, is not going to be an easy game but the better side with luck will win,” he told Kumasi-based radio station Akoma FM.

“At times, one can brag with what he feels but without luck, you might lose, that’s why I’m saying one with better luck will win.” He ended.
