Barnabas, Mary Boakye Win GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human 2022 Cape Coast Open Meet

Barnabas Aggreh and Mary Boakye emerged as victors of the Seniors male and female edition of the Cape Coast Open Meet of the 2022 GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human Competition held at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday 27th August, 2022.

Barnabas, a student of Tamale UDS capitalized on his strength to run 10.04secs beating contenders Iddris Musah (10.28secs) and Mustapha Bokpim (10.34secs) from Greater Accra.

Also in a fierce contest, Grace Obour from the University of Ghana failed to beat her contender Mary Boakye from W/R.

Mary Boakye won the race with a time of 11.25secs as Grace Obour ended the race as the first runner up with 11.56secs followed by Deborah Acheampong (11.84secs).

The winners were presented with certificates and prizes.

The final race is expected to come off on 24 September at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
