Barnabas Aggerh Wins 2022 GNPC Ghana Fastest Human

Barnabas Aggerh from the University of Development Studies (UDS) Northern Region defied all odds to win the 2022 GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human in the100 meters Senior’s event at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium over the weekend.

He was timed 10.23 secs, whilst Solomon Hammond from the University of Ghana placed second with a time of 10.24 secs while Edwin Gadayi from the Poblo Foundation club Ashanti Region placing third in 10.25 secs.

Janet Mensah from Stagnation Club (Ashanti region) won the Female Senior’s race in 11.62secs, ahead of favorite Grace Obour of University of Ghana who placed second with a time of 11.94 sec and Deborah Acheampong from the UPSA finished third with time of 11. 96ses.

Joe Andoh of Diabene Catholic SHS in the Western Region run 10.64 secs to win the Boys Under 18. Whilst Sherif Abdul Rashid of Adisadel College (C/R) placed second with a time of 10.69secs with Abdul Rauf Abubakari of OKESS in the Ashanti Region placing third with time of 11.04secs.

In the Girls Under 18, Naseera Quansah of Mfantima Girls SHS in the Central Region came first in a time of 11.99secs, followed by Diamond Kusime aslo from Mfantima Girls SHS in the Central Region with a time of 12.18secs and Florence Agyemang of KASS in third place with 12.42secs.

 

 

Wisdom Nyandi Mensah of St. KNUST Basic School in the Ashanti Region won the boys Under 15 in 11.90secs, followed by Felix Anorigiya of Ridge Experiment School in Bono 12.05secs with Albert Yeboah of Methodist JHS in the Bono Region coming in third with a time of 12.06secs.

Mabel Aidoo of New Ebu. Methodist school in the Central Region won the Girls Under 15 in 13.11secs. The second was Sarah Nkansah of Madina SDA in 13.61secs and Amanda Kumanya of UCC placing third with 13.22 secs.
