Asante Kotoko Management Member Sends Message To Fans Ahead of The 2021-22 Season

Asante Kotoko Communications and Brands Manager David Obeng Nyarko has intimated his outfit is ready for the upcoming campaign.

The Kumasi-based giants are currently in the last phase of their two-week preseason tour in faraway Dubai as they prepare themselves for an enthralling 2021-22 season.

Kotoko, record holders of the Ghanaian top-flight, ended the previous season trophyless while losing key cogs Felix Annan, skipper of the club, Emmanuel Gyamfi, deputy captain, among some experienced legs in the club and also replaced Mariano Barreto with erstwhile WAFA head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum, the Porcupine Warriors will be hoping their return to spiritual home – Baba Yara – will bring them good fortunes in the forthcoming season.

When quipped about the readiness of the club ahead of the soon-to-start Ghana Premier League, David Obeng Nyarko iterated:

“We are ready for the upcoming season,”

“This is Asante Kotoko and we are fully prepared for any tournament so I can say for a fact that we are ready,” Obeng Nyarko told Kumasi based OTEC FM

He continued:

“We are hoping that our fans will also be ready and add their numbers and quota to us so we can get a perfect team to compete.”

They (Fans) should come to the stadium to support, cheer and encourage the boys till the final whistle. They shouldn’t come with the motion to insult or submit a hash treatment on players

Asante Kotoko will slug it out with Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams on opening day of the Ghana Premier League as they begin the campaign to snatch the league crown from archenemy Hearts of Oak.
