Sweden’s Ayari Brace Shatters Tunisia’s Perfect Defensive Record in 5-1 Rout
Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari scored two stunning long-range goals as Sweden handed Tunisia their heaviest World Cup defeat, ending a qualifying campaign in which the North Africans had not conceded a single goal.
Sweden delivered a devastating blow to Tunisia’s World Cup aspirations on Sunday, thrashing the North African side 5-1 at the Estadio Monterrey as Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari announced himself with two magnificent long-range strikes on his tournament debut.
