GFA and NLA Launch “World Cup Bonanza” to Reward Fans and Fly Ghanaians to 2026 FIFA World Cup

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in collaboration with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Rambell Entertainment Limited, has officially launched the “World Cup Bonanza” — a thrilling initiative designed to reward football fans and give Ghanaians the chance to support the Black Stars live at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The colourful event was held at the GFA Secretariat’s conference room in Accra on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, attracting media representatives, football stakeholders, and fans eager to learn about the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Empowering Fans Through Opportunity

Speaking at the launch, GFA President Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku encouraged Ghanaians to take part in the exciting campaign, emphasising that participation could lead to more than just a trip to the World Cup.

 

“Your business (connection) may come from the World Cup, you never know,” he remarked, urging fans to see the initiative not just as a game of luck, but as a chance to connect, explore, and experience something transformative.

He also called on the public to encourage friends and family to participate, creating a ripple effect of excitement across the nation.

A Fair and Transparent Process

The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to transparency, assuring the public that the draw will be conducted with the utmost credibility.

He stated, “The NLA will ensure a credible process in which only genuine winners will be rewarded with the opportunity to travel and support the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”

Through this partnership, the GFA and NLA will fly 220 lucky Ghanaians to North America for the global football spectacle.
