Great Accra Region-based side Na God FC have secured promotion to the Division One League after beating Port City FC 2-1 in the second game of the three-way all-play-all league to determine the replacement of demoted Inter Allies in the Division One League.
Na God came into the game in high spirits after winning their first game of the playoff 3-0 against Volta Region-based Agbogba FC on Wednesday.
The Dome-based side earned the desired result as they came from a goal down to beat Port City 2-1.
The result means Na God emerge winners of the playoff with 6 points, irrespective of the result of the the final game of the playoff between Port City and Agbogba.
Na God will play in Zone One of the 2022/23 Division One League which will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 30 to Monday, October 3, 2022 across the three Zones.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is expected to announce the fixtures of the new season next week.
