Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Francis Andy Kumi has charged the club’s supporters to have high expectations in him.

The 21-year-old has scored two goals in three appearances for the Porcupine Warriors, since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League second round.

The Black Stars striker hit the back of the net 7 times in 8 appearances for Division One League, Unistar Academy prompting his signing to replace Kwame Opoku.

Kumi opened his Kotoko scoring account in a 4-0 drubbing of Bechem United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in an outstanding league match.

The budding goal poacher bagged his second Kotoko goal in a 2-0 win against Berekum Chelsea at the same venue.

Expressing delight at the start of his Kotoko career, Kumi said: “I built my own confidence when I came to Kotoko. You guys should expect the best. I am going to build more confidence from game to game”

With in-form strike partner, Fabio Gama suspended for their next league match against Accra Great Olympics, Kumi is hoping to bring his A-game to avenge their first-round defeat at the hands of the Dade boys.
