Massive Turn Out at GNPC Ghana Fastest Human – Tamale Open Meet As Athletes Make Impressive Times

The first competition for the GNPC Ghana Fastest Human competition 2022 was held at the Alhaji Alui Mahama Sports Stadium at Tamale on Saturday with a massive turn out by the youth of the North who came to showcase their talent in running the sprint (100meters) race.

Indeed the program was very well organized, and the young athletes proved that the future is bright with their marvelous performance and impressive times.

Salifu Gafaru won the over 18 years of age event with a time of 10.78, Alhassan Abdulai also won the Boys under 18.

The President of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) Mr. Afelibeik Ababu and Sir Reks Brobby, founder of  GFH commended the young athletes for turning out in their numbers and making the Meet very successful.

The next competition comes off on July 9 at the Paa Joe stadium of the University of Science and Technology at Kumasi, then the Cape Coast Meet on August 20, before the main final with the President’s Cup at stake at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on September 24, 2022.
